Rails are solid for the hitch and no sign of rust/corrosion one year in. Installation is moderately difficult but the kit includes everything needed, even the bond breaker to place between aluminum body and steel parts that prevents corrosion.
I found the installation instructions easy to follow. They were clearly written and concise. No hardware was missing. Great experience.

Installed under a B&W 18k slider. I installed through a drop in bed liner (cut out openings with reciprocating tool). The only advice I have to make install easier is to not have wheel well liners installed, horrible to put in, let alone take out and put back in. The rest of the install was pretty straight forward on a F250. This is my 2nd installation of these rails, I installed on my 2018 F250 as well as my current 2021.

My new 2019 F350 did not have the factory fifth wheel prep so to make my Demco hitch work I ordered this custom rail kit and I am very happy with it. Install was easy and painless since the factory frame had hole right where they needed to be for these brackets. It is a robust set of rails and brackets and will meet my towing needs for sure.
The product is great! But the problem is the instructions are really hard to follow. (Fabricator for 20 years, I can read prints). We ended up giving up on the instructions and using the video on the website to install the rails. Would be a 5 star review but the instructions killed it.

Overall the kit is great. I would have given 5 stars but some of the split washers in the kit failed upon torquing the bolts. Other than that the kit was easy to install and looks to be of high quality.

Fit right up. Just some holes drilled in bed. Frame brackets bolted up with no drilling. Would buy again if necessary.
Perfect fit. Easy to follow instructions. Will need second person to help hold bolts.

My wife and I purchased a newer truck (2024 Ford F-250 SD crewcub) which resulted in needing new 5th wheel base rails. This kit was easy to install with out a lift. The online video was helpful. I had trouble installing a set of under bed spacer blocks, so I remove the side bracket and taped the spacers onto the bracket and reinstalled the bracket. Total time for install was around 4 hrs.
Great product for what it is. Bought a new to me 2019 F350 XLT truck so needed the brackets for our 5th wheel as I had the hitch part. Perplexed on why I couldn't find any company that sold just the frame brackets for the short bed without the rails as I already had industry standard rails, but here we are. Instructions we pretty good and brackets went in without a "hitch" lol. Everything lined up and looks great. Wish is was black powder coated so it would blend in better. Didn't have any extra parts so must have done something right.
Price was great, shipping was lightning fast, and directions and support were phenomenal! I would not hesitate to order anything in the future from etrailer.com!
